Biography
Karen Akl is an associate at KLA & CO – Beirut office specializing in Corporate Law, M&A and Capital Markets practice groups. Graduating with a Masters degree in Business Law from a renowned University of Law (Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth), and having successfully completed many internships for Lebanese/International Law firms, she has gained professional experience in conducting legal research and due diligences, and assisting on domestic and international transactions. Karen conducted legal due diligence for several companies for the purpose of being listed in the parallel and main markets and handled the drafting and review of the related LDD reports and of various legal documents including prospectus, legal memoranda and commercial agreements. In 2021, Karen has been admitted to the Beirut Bar Association.
Since joining KLA & CO, Karen has actively participated in providing consultancy services for Saudi companies relating to different areas of law and multiple transactions.
